Bidera Auctions is proud to introduce another innovation: Bidera Friends
- auction specific friendship site.
You probably have seen regular friendship sites spring up in the past few years. Until now no friendship site was integrated as well with an auction site as is Bidera Auctions with Bidera Friends. In fact, Bidera Friends is a fully functional part of Bidera Auctions. If you are a new user, you can quickly get up to the speed if you become or already are friends with an existing established user on Bidera. If you are an established user of Bidera, you will gain increased chance that your items will be viewed and sold. Buyers will be able to browse items friends. Bidera is believed to be the first to add this exact feature. Importantly, Bidera Friends feature helps the already extensive anti-fraud infrastracture at Bidera Auctions. Crooks will not be able to gain friendship of honest sellers for long . If scammers try to set up their own friendship circles they will be weeded out mercilessly. Bidera values client safety above all. We sincerely hope that Bidera Friends will prove useful to you and all your friends! 1. Asking a person to become your friend. In order to use Friends feature on Bidera Auction you and your friend must both be existing users of Bidera. Joining Bidera is easy and fast if you haven't done so already. You must know username of the person you will be inviting to your friendship (makes sense, doesn't it?) Next step should be logging in your My Account -> My Friends After that you should press Add New Friend Button. A new page will appear. You will be asked to enter the user name of your friend. Under the heading of "What Friends Say.." enter a short description about your friend (how you met them, if you know them in RL. best qualities.. etc.). You will also have to pick Accept Friendship option. Since you are sending an invite to a friend, it makes sense that first you would have to tell them that you would be friends with them from your side. Under "Message to Friend" heading you may enter a short message to your prospective friend. 2. Replying to users who want to be your friends. What to do if you receive an offer from another Bidera user to become your friend? First of all, we would not advise becoming friends with someone unless you get to know them a little first. If you meet someone on a plane fight you do not become instant friends with that person till later. (of course if that person's name is Tyler Durden then you have a more serious problem...) You may choose to accept or you can also refuse their friendship. This can be done by pressing the link that will be given in the e-mail informing you of the friendship offer. Alternatively, you can log in your Bidera My Account page and go to My Friends page. There you will see a list of people (if more than one) who have expressed interest in being friends with you. You may accept or decline friendships from My Friends page. 3. Managing your friendships. What to do if you want to change your mind about a friend or friends of yours? Procedure is very much the same as above. Simply log in My Account and go to My Friends page. From there you can break friendships or review existing ones. You can also use Restore Friendship button to accept a friendship from someone whom you had refused before (times changes, people change, as they say..). How to see what your existing friends are? Once at least one person has accepted your friendship, you will be able to see who your friends are and what they say under link "What Friends say." this link will appear under your user ID in your auctions. Other browsers of your auctions will be able to see this as well, which will enable you to increase your reputation if your friends are well respected. Of course, if you do not have good friends, your reputation may suffer too.. 4. Further uses for Bidera Friends. The real fun in using friendship system such as Bidera Friends exists in jumping through friends circles and seeing what friends your friend has, and what friends, friends the friends of your friend has and so on... |
